XC Maps Beta Version Released to Local Communities

XC Maps is our first interactive soaring forecast tool. Zoom in, pan around and overlay forecast layers and winds for practically anywhere on the planet. The combination of merging our custom map layers with Google Maps provides an incredible forecast tool.

After being beta tested over the last flying season, we are pleased to announce the first version of XC Maps. There are still a few known issues that are being worked out, but overall the validation has proven to be successful enough to move forward. This initial release of XC Maps will allow us to collect even more feedback and validation for many over-looked parts of the world. We will also be implementing a discussion forum/group for the application and encourage everyone to start talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly of this application. All feedback is greatly welcomed, as this application is created by pilots for the use of pilots.
